About the artwork: Circle of influence

Amnesty International and Philip Ross, in collaboration with cityfab.brussels and visit.brussels, present Circle of influence, a luminous work inviting you to reflect and act. The work opens up a space for reflection on the concrete meaning of human rights in our society. It is part of a global trend that is extremely hostile to human rights, where the unprecedented progression of authoritarian practices continues to threaten their expression. This experience thus leads us to become aware of their fragility but above all of the power of a resistance movement, acting for freedom, justice and humanity.

About the artist: Philip Ross

A visual artist but also an industrial design engineer, researcher and teacher, Philip Ross is committed to creating works where art and commitment come together, where the public is invited to live an experience. Circle of influence is fully in line with this approach. Through this collaboration, Philip Ross and Amnesty International aim to provide a space where every viewer can feel that they have a role to play in protecting human rights.
