>> Due to winter conditions, this Sunday evening’s performances are cancelled.
Ocean’s Joy is a joyful tribute to the ocean and to all efforts made to protect it. In the choreography by Pierre Bastin / Bal Spécial, joy becomes a form of resistance: moving forward together, always with care and determination. The dancers - Amalia Guis, Simon Lelièvre, Solène Ezin, Pauline Thuriot, Pierre Bastin, Isabella Arboleda and Hanako Salanon Hasegawa - embody a human wave of solidarity and connection, where joy coexists with anger, grief and other emotions that can fuel collective protest. The music and light installation by Lolalita / Lola Ilegems offers the audience a sensory encounter with the ocean, moving to the rhythm of the waves.
This project is an initiative by Greenpeace and celebrates what we want to protect: the ocean as a source of life.
