To mark the Bright Brussels Festival, the buildings of the Brussels-Capital Region Parliament will be illuminated.
The Brussels-Capital Region Parliament, the region’s legislative body, represents the heart of Brussels democracy. Composed of 89 members, 72 French-speaking and 17 Dutch-speaking, it is within this institution that fundamental civic values are expressed: dialogue, listening, tolerance and decision-making in the service of the general interest and the well-being of all.
The historic building at 69 rue Lombard is topped by a glass hemicycle, symbolising the assembly’s commitment to openness and transparency. Opposite, the building at number 72 houses a number of political groups from the Brussels Parliament.
