Want to explore Brussels without lugging your suitcase around? You can! There are plenty of luggage storage options across the city, ideal if you arrive early, leave late or want to spend a few more hours exploring without your bags. Find out where you can safely leave your luggage and enjoy some stress-free time in Brussels.
1. At train stations
Have a few hours to spare but no hotel room where you can leave your belongings? Train stations are the perfect starting point for exploring the city without having to lug your bags around.
You can temporarily store your luggage in a luggage locker operated by Belgium’s national railway company (SNCB/NMBS). Lockers are available at Brussels-Central, Brussels-North, Brussels-Midi and Brussels-Luxembourg. They come in various sizes, from small lockers for handbags to XXL lockers for large suitcases.
Another option is to use the lockers provided by Lockerpoint. You’ll find them just a few steps from Brussels-Central station and in the Q-Park car park at Brussels-Midi. Three locker sizes are available at these locations, and you can reopen your locker during the rental period.
Finally, there are plenty of other online luggage storage services near the train stations, but we’ll tell you more about those later, in section 3.
2. At the airport
You can also temporarily store your luggage at Brussels Airport. The luggage lockers are located outside the terminal on level 0, close to the bus stops and the exit. They are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Lockers are available in various sizes, from M to XXL, with prices starting at €10 per 24 hours. Larger items, such as bicycles, skis and musical instruments, can also be stored there. This means you can leave your luggage in a safe place during a long layover or a short stay in Brussels and explore the city with complete peace of mind.
3. At various locations across the city
In addition to the luggage lockers at train stations and the airport, several online luggage storage platforms operate in Brussels, including Bounce, Nannybag, Radical Storage and LuggageHero. These services allow you to book a storage location online in advance with local partners, such as shops, hotels and other businesses. Storage locations are available throughout the city, including near major train stations and tourist attractions. This makes it easy to drop off your luggage and explore Brussels worry-free.
