Do you like concept stores and shops selling items “Made in Belgium”? Then you’re in the right place! Far from the big chains and alongside the capital’s ethical boutiques, here is a selection of original Brussels boutiques that often sell local, Belgian-made items. Accessories, decoration, plants, illustrations, cosmetics… there’s a kaleidoscope of possibilities to treat yourself and those you care about.

Lundi Di

Immerse yourself in the offbeat world of Lundi Di, where kitsch is unabashedly on show, with a healthy dose of humour. Between unusual porcelain, vintage plates with messages and butterfly crucifixes, each creation cultivates surprise and smiles. The store shares its space with Be Color, which injects a dose of colour and pop culture to your gift ideas. This pair form an explosive ensemble, spanning everything from offbeat chic to fun finds.

Ko Store

Head to Ko Store, a treasure-trove of independent creators, located between the canal and the Sainte-Catherine neighbourhood. Rare jewellery, hand-sewn textiles, decorative objects and sustainable items: a selection that favours assertive and singular models. Some creations bear the signature of Belgian goldsmiths, adding a unique, local, artisanal touch.
