Our first stop will be at our hidden gem inspired with medieval atmosphere. Here, sample your first beer and exchange thoughts on the flavor and notes and soak up the convivial spirit as you chat to your group. At every venue, we’ll surprise you by combining our beers with some local food to make sure you enjoy the full Belgian beer-and-food experience. So now it’s time to enjoy that delicious Brussels’ chocolate your guide has put on the table for you.
It’s time to move on to another lively beer spot. The knowledge of Liselot is more than only about beers: as a proud citizen, she’ll share fascinating novels about Brussels Belfry, Manneken Pis and the historical Pelgrim church. Your sightseeing will be completed with a walking encyclopedia.
At our second location, we’ll discover more different styles and further explore the world-famous Belgian brew portfolio. By tasting the very ingredients that make up the brewing process, you’ll feel like you’re visiting a brewery and you’ll get a sense of what makes a beer sour, sweet or bitter. Now, have you ever tried unique Belgian types like Trappists and our local Brussels brews? Make sure your taste buds are ready cause you are about to be introduced to the widest range of Belgian beers you have ever seen in just one bar. This visit will be completed with another surprising local food pairing.
For our second promenade, Liselot demonstrates how Brussels got this fertiled environment to make Lambic beers. Only a few metres further, you’ll hear more history of the old city wall and a recognised statue.
Last but not least, at your 3rd location you’ ll be introduced to the upscaling local craft beer market and will get the chance to try an exclusive beer you can only find in this town. Have you found your new favourite beer? Explore variants of it and make the most of these last moments together!
After 3 hours, your tour will come to a close in the nicest area of town where you will be free to spend time with your new friends or to continue this unique beer experience.

At the intersection between his position, detached from artistic production, and the reflections that have arisen from his activity, Jean Luc Ducourt is taking on the challenge laid down by the conference : conceiving and defining dance, formulating its journey through the history of art – in parallel with painting and with music –, analyzing nomenclature and conventions in the light of contemporary language.Having performed for figures including Susan Buirge and Régine Chopinot, a dancer then an artistic collaborator with the Rosas company, a devotee of Merce Cunningham, he approaches the concept of form from the various angles of his Circonférences du Geste in order to “examine a material and its possibilities” : the body as space, space as a body.

Adrien Tyberghein Trio
ODYSSEY is a project that explores the cultural roots of a long-standing jazz style and contemporary music, drawing on a range of influences – oral traditions and rhythms that inspire a contemporary musical idiom. Envisioning a continuous sonic journey, ODYSSEY pays close attention to form and emphasises transitions, textures and soundscapes, creating a journey through the sequence of tracks.
Throughout the project, Adrien Tyberghe acts as an instrument of transformation. Through bowing, pizzicato and extended techniques, he embodies all the different roles – rhythmic, melodic, percussive, textural and harmonic – drawing on various musical genres. The trio (double bass, piano, drums) serves as the starting point, around which diverse forms and presences unfold. Depending on the piece, guest musicians – trumpet, percussion, strings, vocals – broaden the soundscape and open up new narrative spaces. With its forms and constant evolution, ODYSSEY offers music in motion, founded on listening, the fluid exchange of roles and the meeting of cultures and imaginations. Through music, it affirms a form of sensitive tolerance: the coexistence of differences, mutual understanding and shared experience.

The themes explored are both personal and societal: mental
health, sexuality, politics, the world of work... Through a steeply performative live set, Nice Guise invites the expurgation of passions through dance.

. . . . . FROE CHAR . . . . .
Froe Char is the solo project of Cristina Lauro, Italian artist based between Paris and Brussels. Over several years of experimentation and numerous releases, Froe Char has developed a sophisticated sound immersed in a dark and foggy atmosphere, blending synthetic spells, techno rhythms, and haunting vocals. Her debut album, "Fossils," was released in 2013 on Modern Tapes (US). Cristina has continued to evolve, collaborating with various labels such as Medical Records, Anyw4ve, Serendip Lab, and Soil Records. She is also a founding member of the Parisian label Spielzeug Muzak and is also known for being part of the synth duo Illustration Sonore. Froe Char has toured and shared stages across Europe and the United States. She has performed with many artists such as Automelodi, Bootblacks, Geneva Jacuzzi, Hide, IV Horsemen, Keluar, Mala Herba, Martial Canterel, Sixth June, The Soft Moon, Void Vision, among others. Her latest work, "Panoplies," is available on Da!Heard It Records, blending the hybridity of all the past and present energies of dark wave, techno-tribal rhythms, and layers of industrial noise. "Panoplies" is a cathartic and solitary journey exploring human fractures and earthly elements.

. . WIEZ . . . . . . . . . . . . .
How do you pronounce it? No one gives a shit. It's an acronym, always shifting like each of her live sets, never twice the same. She brings a raw industrial techno project built on unpredictable machines, distorted vocals, and a broken bass played with hands way too small for chords.
Each live show is pure chaos: brutal, improvised, and driven by jagged beats and crushing basslines. WIEZ doesn't follow rules nor trends, just a relentless push for intensity. Expect a bunch of distortion, destruction, and a sound that never plays what you'll count on.

Mind of a Serial Killer : The Experience
Smithsonian Journey into deep space
Smithsonian Journey into deep space takes audiences on a journey to the far reaches of the Universe, right from the heart of Brussels at Tour & Taxis. Developed in collaboration with the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO), a research centre founded in 1890, the immersive experience draws on decades of astronomical research to explore stars, galaxies, exoplanets and black holes.
The exhibition features observations made by some of the world’s leading space observatories, including the Hubble and James Webb Space Telescopes and the Chandra X-ray Observatory. Through scientific data and discoveries, visitors can gain a deeper understanding of the life cycle of stars, the formation of galaxies, worlds beyond our solar system and some of the most extreme phenomena in the cosmos.
Set within a 3D environment, the experience takes visitors among representations of thousands of galaxies, across the Milky Way and towards the Sun, where they can observe its activity up close. Along the way, they encounter exoplanets with extreme conditions, a star nearing the end of its life and the edge of a supermassive black hole. By bringing these distant worlds and phenomena into an immersive setting, the experience offers a tangible sense of the vast scale and extraordinary diversity of the Universe, while making some of the most complex astronomical phenomena easier to understand from an Earth-based perspective.

"Variations. L'art et le silence - Le silence et l'art"
The piano, the starting point of the creative process, silently opens up the stage space with its imposing volume, its curves and lines, its play of light and shadow. Its presence sets the tone, initiates the first breath, and gradually unfolds this continuous questioning, within the temporality of a present so deeply inhabited.
At the intersection of reality and the imagination, where one person’s truth is never another’s, art and silence are constantly reinventing themselves in this liminal space of the fleeting moment. From silence to sound, from stammering to speech, from the vibrational to the physical, from thought to language, this piece explores and allows itself to be traversed by this perpetual back-and-forth movement, in a state of ambiguity and distance from the self.
This initial voice of the piano gives the floor in turn to the other lines—visual, textual, textile, scenographic—until it shifts towards those interstices that invite us to see what cannot be seen, to hear what cannot be heard, to perceive what cannot be perceived.
The performance gives substance to this continuum of modulations, supporting through dance or the gaze this mystery of transition. This presence embodies these dual movements between emptiness and fullness, darkness and light, past and future. A stance that dares to let itself be traversed into a state of being outside oneself.

The Halloween Fair
From 16 October to 8 November, as night falls over Tour & Taxis, the pumpkins light up, the fog rolls in and creatures emerge from the shadows. For 24 days, spanning the entire autumn school holidays (FR/NL), the Halloween Fair returns for a third edition that's more spellbinding than ever. Laughter, screams and chills guaranteed!
A fair for all ages
Climb over 30 metres high aboard the V-Max, take in the view for a few seconds… then get flung in every direction. Push open the door of the Haunted House, race bumper cars through a fog-drenched graveyard, or lose yourself in the maze… you never know who might be lurking inside. Between chills, take aim at monsters and witches at the archery or shooting stalls, try your luck at the casino, and head home with a terrifying cuddly toy or a bag of bewitched sweets.
The little ones can fish for ghost ducks, whirl around on the carousel among skeletons and bats, or hop aboard the little train for a ride through a haunted landscape.
Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, spin the Fair's big wheel: no one loses, everyone walks away with a prize! And for hungry ghouls, there are croustillons, churros, doughnuts and Vandermeulen fries, the Brussels institution, served with Halloween-coloured sauces. Warm up with a hot drink at the bar, where witches and werewolves gather.
Costumes welcome… the ghosts are already here.
New this year: the Halloween Mystery House (ages 3-10)
From 30 October to 2 November, young adventurers explore a maze full of surprises, make their very own witch's hat, then get their faces painted as a mischievous witch or an adorable little monster. A bag of sweets is included! Budding artists aged 3 to 12 can also enter the scariest drawing contest, with prizes awarded on Halloween night. €6 per child, registration required, limited places: don't wait too long!
And all around, the whole site joins in
At BattleKart, the track plunges into the darkness of a haunted mansion, with tombstones and eerie sound effects: thrills guaranteed for drivers of all ages.
WOM reveals a whole new side of itself, with themed decor and special activities for the whole family.
On Sundays, La Fabbrica serves its "Terrifying" brunches in a completely transformed setting, while the FoodMarket tempts visitors every day with its autumn specialities.
On 24 and 25 October, Comic Con Brussels brings together fans of comics, manga, cosplay and video games.
And for adults craving darker thrills, the "Mind of a Serial Killer" exhibition offers a chilling dive into criminal psychology (not for the faint-hearted).
Enough to fill a whole day, and come back for more!

Fire Island Polaroids
Made during Robert Andy Coombs’ 2022 BOFFO residency in Fire Island Pines, these Polaroids document friends, lovers, chance encounters, and the island’s landscape. Affection, desire, leisure, and caregiving unfold together in a personal account of his time there. The series engages with Fire Island’s history as a refuge for gay men, while drawing attention to the barriers that shape access to its spaces. In dialogue with Tom Bianchi’s Polaroids, Coombs contributes his own perspective as a wheelchair user to the island’s photographic legacy. His photographs explore how care and intimacy make room for connection and belonging. Robert Andy Coombs is a photographer whose work explores disability, sexuality, relationships, and care. Raised in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, he received his BFA in photography from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2013 and graduated from Yale School of Art in 2020. He was a BOFFO resident on Fire Island in 2022.

Come Closer: Disability, Intimacy, Care and Desire
Come Closer: Disability, Intimacy, Care and Desire explores how we can rethink intimacy through the lens of disability justice. How can we understand bodily autonomy, communicate desires and boundaries, and recognise access needs as an essential part of intimacy? How can we build more accessible and affirming spaces that challenge ableist assumptions and the desexualisation of disabled people? The workshop also invites participants to question the idea that interdependence is a weakness, instead exploring care, support, and mutual reliance as meaningful parts of intimate relationships.Through discussion, performance, creative activities, and shared resources, participants explore the connections between disability, intimacy, care, and desire, with a focus on communication, consent, access needs, kink, and aftercare.Participatory and playful activities invite participants to reflect on how we can create more inclusive, accessible, and pleasurable experiences of intimacy, challenging dominant narratives around bodies, sexuality, relationships, and care.Antonella Candiago is a disability rights advocate working at the intersection of disability, gender, sexuality, and social justice. Drawing on lived experience and professional expertise, she promotes disability justice and sex-positive, intersectional approaches to bodies, desire, intimacy, relationships, and care. Quasimodo aux miroirs
Taking as his starting point a fictional character who became famous through the Disney animated film – the famous hunchback of Notre-Dame – artist No Anger deconstructs the imagery surrounding this iconic figure by using his own body. How can one appropriate an image whilst simultaneously undermining the norms that this image conveys? How do you expose the imagination and social logic inherent in this image, whilst also redefining the way we view the disabled body? From the experience in front of the mirror to the stage, dance becomes a means of freeing oneself from constraints. To utilise the body’s potential. To give expression to the dizzying aspects of identification. In a performance that takes the form of a reclamation, No Anger sets out to reinvent itself and broaden our perception: that of a body in all its states, one that subverts norms and affirms the plasticity of being – beyond alienating images and dominant narratives.Through an artistic practice that brings together video art, performance and literary writing, No Anger challenges the ways in which bodies are expressed and displayed. Words and images, which form part of a shared language and imaginative world and are imbued with power relations, convey a worldview that legitimises certain realities over others, thereby creating a hierarchy amongst bodies.

Strawberry Fractale
Strawberry Fractale is a reading. Strawberry Fractale invites the visitor to meander through a hybrid text that combines meditation, storytelling, soothing thoughts and protocols. Strawberry Fractale is an attempt at gathering words on neurodivergent speech, neuroqueer language, burnt-out brain fogs, exhausted embodiments. Strawberry Fractale is also about the practice of adding strawberry emojis, in our phone contacts, next to the names of people who are super loving. Florence Cheval practices artistic research & writing while, at home, peer-supporting two neuroqueer youngsters with chronic conditions. She explores feminist, queer & crip modes writing, publishing and translating in the field of contemporary arts. She currently develops support sCRIPtures, a non-linear artistic research on image description as a creative and collective access tool supported by the FrArt/Fnrs.

Lumson
LUMSON presents the results of an artistic research project by artist Aernoudt Jacobs, developed in collaboration with iMAL, UHasselt/imo-imomec, FARI/ULB/VUB and De Hoge Rielen.
LUMSON presents the results of an artistic research project by artist Aernoudt Jacobs, developed in collaboration with iMAL, UHasselt/imo-imomec, FARI/ULB/VUB and De Hoge Rielen. The project explores how inaudible frequencies become perceptible by connecting a luminous speaker foil with an AI component that translates hidden frequencies into vocal sounds. The exhibition brings together installations, prototypes, workshop results and documentation material from this process.
The luminous speaker is created by screen-printing several layers onto a thin, flexible piezoelectric foil. Conductive and electroluminescent inks are applied and encapsulated so that the same flat surface can vibrate to produce sound while also emitting light and colors. Its innovation lies in uniting material and technology in a single surface, so that the resulting object becomes not merely a container for technical components but the speaker, light source, and visual composition itself. Hidden signals and waves are translated into voice and this creates an environment in which invisible signals become audible, visible and tangible at once — with the voice functioning both as metaphor and as a concrete result of this translation.
Across different workshops, the project evolved through encounters with artistic, academic, DIY, and school audiences, each revealing a different aspect of the luminous speaker and the inaudible phenomena surrounding it. Participants explored the creative potential of constructing and presenting the screen-printed speakers collectively, and developed the material and technical knowledge needed to improve their performance and durability. They also investigated how urban electromagnetic signals could be translated into AI-generated voices and audiovisual compositions, while younger participants explored connections between technology, nature, storytelling, and collaborative making.
Working with a different audience each time tested the project from multiple perspectives, generating varied forms of knowledge and expression. The process showed how collective experimentation can make complex technologies accessible, imaginative, and socially engaging. The exhibition presents around 70 printed speakers made by around 40 people, including workshop participants.

//sabotage
At the turn of the 19th century, workers protested against unfair labour conditions by deliberately working badly, slowing down or degrading production, or putting machinery out of action. Today’s workers —whether they are warehouse staff or startup employees— deploy micro-resistance tactics to defy the algorithm-driven intensification of labour, exposing workplace abuses, outsmarting algorithms and organising collective pushback.
Likewise, contemporary artists embrace sabotage as a tool to dismantle oppressive systems. For them, it’s a form of creative resistance, bridging historical labour struggles with modern battles against exploitation, marginalisation and democratic backsliding.
The exhibition invites reflection on urgent questions: Where are today's creative acts and technologies of unmaking” that disrupt the exploitative mechanisms of capitalism? How do artists mobilise inventiveness, storytelling and mischief to produce a ‘poetry of dysfunction’? And, finally, will the machines join the rebellion?

Discover EXH#03 inside the unique viewing depot of the Vanhaerents Art Collection. Over 3,500 m² of contemporary art by international artists displayed in an intimate, unexpected setting. A fresh behind-the-scenes look at one of Belgium’s leading private collections.
Discover the current exhibition EXH#03 within the unique Viewing Depot concept of the Vanhaerents Art Collection in Brussels. Spanning over 3,500 m², the exhibition offers an intimate encounter with contemporary art by internationally acclaimed artists.
In 2017, marking its ten-year anniversary, the collection radically reimagined its presentation model. Moving away from conventional exhibitions, it introduced the Viewing Depot—a hybrid space where aesthetics and functionality merge, offering visitors unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to one of Europe’s leading private collections.
Opened in April 2024, EXH#03 is curated by Walter Vanhaerents together with Joost and Els Vanhaerents. The exhibition brings together recent acquisitions and key works across three floors. Inspired by the Chinese zodiac, it unfolds as an associative journey where large-scale works combine aesthetic innovation with emotional intensity and urgent social themes.
The works address topics such as oppression, loss of freedom, identity, inequality and migration. Artists including Stephan Balleux, Gregory Crewdson, Alvaro Barrington, Jonathan Meese, Zakaria Ramhani, Jin Meyerson, Ugo Rondinone, Gillian Wearing and Gilbert & George each offer distinct perspectives on contemporary society.
Also included in the visit is Reflections on Breathing by Danish artist Jeppe Hein, presented in the project space. At its core is Breathe With Me, a large-scale participatory work inviting visitors to visualize their breath through blue lines, creating a collective drawing of presence and connection.
EXH#03 offers a powerful and layered experience where art, reflection and participation converge.

Concert de Sébastien Delage
A hyperactive, autistic musician, Sébastien Delage has been writing, composing, and singing his own songs since 2021.
That same year, he founded his own queer label, Drama Queen Music, to escape the music industry's dictates. Since then, he has released one album a year, produced entirely in his small home studio with a sense of urgency and obsession bordering on mania.
He speaks candidly about gay desire, masculinity, mental health, and non-heteronormative romances, all set to an indie-rock sound that can shift abruptly from major to minor keys, and back again.

it doesn't go without saying (& other gossips)
For the first time, Alix Eynaudi and Elizabeth Ward are working on a project together. So they have called upon dancer Ray Scheinecker. Their performance fantasizes about the legacy of American postmodern dance, and delves particularly deeply into the oeuvre and stories of choreographer and videographer Cathy Weis. In the work, they emphasize Paul Kotal's sound composition as an autonomous element: voices and vivid descriptions take the form of interviews and gossip, and they reflect together on archiving, accessibility, and collective memory.
The feeling that something is being passed on even before it has been passed on.it doesn't go without saying (& other gossips) is a project by Alix Eynaudi and Elizabeth Ward, together with dancer Ray Scheinecker, that fabulates on the legacy of US postmodern dance — specifically through the work and stories of choreographer and videographer Cathy Weis. Her voice runs throughout the piece in stories, interviews and gossip, where the anecdote becomes a way of sensing l'air du temps: what it held, what it let fall. The piece unfolds as a series of intimate tributes, in the movement, in the sound, the lights, and in the clothing. The studio never quite leaves the stage. Something ferments in the retelling — slipping between devotion and decoration, between what was practiced and what is performed, between the body that learned and the body that remembers. Not a reconstruction. Not a recovery of something lost. A turbulence, still working. Each of the three performers carries a different distance from Cathy's work. Elizabeth has been close for three decades — a student, yes, but also someone who has lived with her, helped her move houses, danced for her, conversed with her across a long friendship. Alix came to this history as a European dancer, through the people who carried it across an ocean — learning from those who had learned from Cathy, amongst others — the chain long enough that something is always already being reinterpreted, remade. Ray arrives from a different generation and a different formation entirely — Austrian, urban dance, clownery — and brings with her a resonance with Cathy's work that is less about lineage than about something more oblique, more bodily, harder to name. Three distances. Three intimacies.Cathy's stories, images, and recordings traveled from New York to Vienna — and it was through that retelling that the piece found its shape: Paul Kotal's sound design and composition, a clothing collection by Isabelle Edi somewhere between the Addams Family and the supposed neutrality of jeans, t-shirt, and sports shoes, and a light design by Lukas Kötz — a set designer, here working with light alone. We never dance alone. For Cathy Weis, with love. • Alix Eynaudi dances, works, and writes at the cutting edge of craftsmanship and chaos, through which she embraces a (mostly) joyful chaos. She never works alone; every event, every investigation, every invitation is a pretext to spend time with like-minded individuals – a network of friendships shimmering beneath the surface, a wave of wonder and support. She is specialized in choreographic encounters. Her most recent works include Death by Landscape, a concert (2024), Institute of Rest(s) (2023–2025), and it doesn’t go without saying (2026). Her work has been presented at MACRO, Rome; Tanzquartier, Vienna; Kaaitheater, Brussels; far° festival, Nyon; Xing, Bologna; Biennale di Venezia, Venice; Contemporary Art Centre, Vilnius; brut, Vienna; Volkskundemuseum, Vienna; Wiener Festwochen, Vienna; Wonderfruit festival, Thailand. She lives in Vienna. • Elizabeth Ward is an American dancer, choreographer, and occasional Outside Eye, based in Vienna. She began her training at the School of the Atlanta Ballet and earned a BA at Bennington College in Vermont, where she was taught by Cathy Weis and Dana Reitz. Her work has been shown in New York at Danspace, Movement Research at Judson Church, AUNTS, the Chocolate Factory, Dixon Place, and The Kitchen. Elizabeth has also performed for downtown choreographers such as Yvonne Meier, DD Dorvillier, Rebecca Brooks, Linda Austin, Miguel Gutierrez, Heather Kravas, and Cathy Weis. Since moving to Vienna, her work has been presented through brut, WUK, TQW, Wiener Festwochen, ImPulsTanz, and steirischer herbst.

Marcel Powell & Agustina Britos - "Encontro"
Marcel Powell, a Brazilian guitar virtuoso and son of the renowned guitarist Baden-Powell, invites Argentine singer Agustina Britos to join him in a repertoire of popular hits from their respective countries—such as Carlos Gardel and Alfredo Le Pera’s "El día que me quieras," "Manhã de Carnaval," "Chega de Saudade," and "Corazón Partío."
« ENCONTRO » is a musical project born from a dialogue between Brazilian and Latin American cultures, bringing together two artists whose paths are defined by international careers and a commitment to showcasing the musical traditions of their respective countries: Argentine singer Agustina Britos and Brazilian guitarist Marcel Powell.
The project grew out of artistic affinities forged through shared performances and a focus on elements common to the popular repertoires of Brazil and Latin America. This initiative seeks to reveal these connections through an intimate, acoustic approach, where music becomes a space for connection, attentive listening, and cultural exchange.
This project is supported by the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro and the State Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, through the Mobilidades 2026 Call for Proposals.

Performance - ANAL Pompidou (a bottom-up initiative)
Somewhere deep inside the asshole of performance-artist Simon Van Schuylenbergh you can find a brand new cultural hub called ‘Anal Pompidou’. If you open-up a little more and go even deeper, the topics go further and the performances are wilder, there might be some audience participation of the worst kind, alongside an artisanal bakery and a weird collaboration with the quartier.
Anal Pompidou reflects on the rise and fall of cultural mastodons like KANAL Pompidou, the brand new museum, promised for more than 10 years to the citizens of Brussels in the old Citroën garage, pseudo-financed by a bankrupt Brussels Government. Anal offers you in
style some of the paradoxes the museum symbolizes and the effect it has on art-making and the community it promises to create.
Each night Anal opens the space, and brings 3 different artists active within the Brussels art-field. An eclectic mix of Theater, Dance, performance and visual arts put together in a cabaret setting.
Expect D.I.Y. special effects, meets homosexual desires, meets institutional-diarrhea, meets chaotic energy, meets unsubsidised haemorrhoids, meets you, the audience in the intimacy of the moment.

Discovery of Brasserie de la Senne in English
An opportunity to discover how craft beer is made in such impressive production facilities. Finally we will end the tour with a commented tasting of four major beers of the brewery.
At the beginning of the 20th century in Brussels, there were still about a hundred breweries. After the world wars, industrialisation and the formalisation of tastes, there was only one left until Bernard met Yvan in 2002. Together they create the Brasserie de La Senne. Formatted and sweet beers give way to bitterness. Today installed in 4500 m² on the Tour & Taxis site, they have put technology at the service of their beers. During this visit, you will have access to the production area. An opportunity to discover how craft beer is made in such impressive production facilities. Discussion: towards accessible queer cinema
Brussels' queer culture often has to make do with limited resources – and this contributes to further marginalisation of people with disabilities and larger people. How can we do better?
In a socio-economic and political context where Brussels' queer culture struggles to gain traction, and where it is often sustained by precarious and/or volunteer work, it constantly faces the following challenge: how to go on with limited resources?
This often necessitates shortcuts and compromises—and often, this highlights the factors of marginalisation. Among those most affected by these choices are people with disabilities and larger people.
Stairs with no lifts, seats that are too small, cramped spaces, oppressive lighting and noise, lack of subtitles, spoken presentations without sign language interpretation or microphones, illegible information, a lack of disability-related stories in programmes…
Yet, it is sometimes possible to create better access to our community events with limited resources. And sometimes, there's no secret: no investment = exclusion of one or more groups.
Let's talk about it! What are the current possibilities for improving access to queer culture for people with disabilities and larger people? What needs to change?
And on a smaller scale, as we approach our 25th anniversary, it's high time for Pink Screens to ask itself: "How can we make Pink Screens more accessible?" by continuing to build on what we've started within the festival, but also on what has been established within the broader LGBTQIA+ community.

Words, always words. We learn them, think them, speak them. They settle and accumulate. First on the surface. Then they seep through our pores, take root within us, shape us — sometimes without our knowing. (titre provisoire) is a solo that resists being named. A flight from identity. A flight from definition. A flight from words. On stage, a body and an LED screen — nicknamed the big label —coexist, respond to one another, and rub against each other.Words appear at random, slipping, lying, or striking true, like projected labels attempting to crystallize images and inviting us to revisit our own filters in a subliminal impulse. Where does our need to name, to understand, to classify come from? This performance explores the in-between: between cultures, between languages, between perceptions. The body slips between images and expectations, evades assignments, unsettles representations. It becomes a site of metamorphosis, evaporation, and ambiguous resistance. A sensitive, shifting space where the ephemeral becomes a territory of invention. The spectator’s gaze then becomes a shifting field of experience.Neither narrative nor confession: this solo is a surface. A fracture. A mirror. Johana Malédon is a French Guianese choreographer and dancer based in the Île-de-France region. She trained at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris, the Alvin Ailey School in New York, the Pôle Supérieur Paris Boulogne-Billancourt, and later with the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in Israel. She holds a DNSPD and a State Diploma in jazz dance teaching, as well as a degree in Performing Arts from Université Paris 8 and a Licence’s degree in Cultural and Artistic Project Management. Her choreographic work explores the body as a material shaped by memory, contradictions, and states of transformation. It relies on performative frameworks that place dancers in situations of tension, displacement, and instability. As a performer, she collaborates notably with Léo Lérus, Kristina Alleyne, Abou Lagraa and Nawal Aït Benalla within La Baraka, as well as with Fouad Boussouf, Yoshiko Waki, and Sylvain Groud. She also joins Tanz Münster in Germany as a guest dancer for the 2025–2026 season. In 2019, she founded Compagnie MÂLE after receiving the Grand Prize at the Sobanova Dance Awards for her first piece, À Bientôt. She then created 40, followed by the solo (titre provisoire), selected for Aerowaves Twenty26. Her works are presented both in France and internationally.

Manza 199, concert live rap/ slam
A rapper and slam poet, member of the CNN199 collective and the Brussels Poets’ Collective, as well as an educator and cultural mediator for the Espace Magh cultural centre, Manza Abdeslam is passionate about and interested in the diverse field of creativity. This curiosity has led him to unique encounters and wonderful, original collaborations in the fields of music and poetry
“My mirror until the end of my posthumous life, facing you, is just as if I were seeing myself in it, watching my worst take shape in the ink of your pain; I manage to make the best of it: your joie de vivre and through your existential flights of fancy, as a father, I remain convinced that I will manage to give you that intimate feeling of being precious, my precious one…’

Tentative Tornade
Tentative Tornade is a performance by Maïa Chauvier and Jonathan De Neck, where poetry, music, song and spoken word come together in an intimate dialogue. Through fragments of stories and voices, the piece explores the contradictions of our time with sensitivity, hope and resilience.
Tentative Tornade is a creation by Maïa Chauvier and Jonathan De Neck, at the crossroads of poetry, music and spoken word. Together, they create an intimate and immersive performance where words and music engage in a powerful dialogue.
Poet, slam artist and actress Maïa Chauvier gives voice to deeply personal and socially engaged texts, accompanied by Jonathan De Neck on diatonic accordion, piano, percussion and vocals. Their performance weaves together poetry, songs and musical compositions into a rich tapestry of stories, memories and emotions.
Through fragments of lives, voices of resistance, love songs and reflections on today's world, Tentative Tornade explores the contradictions of our time without losing sight of hope. The result is a sensitive and evocative experience that invites audiences to listen, reflect and travel through a landscape of words and sound.
Maïa Chauvier (voice, poetry, spoken word); Jonathan De Neck (diatonic accordion, piano, percussion, voice).

Exhibition Opening: Radical Pillow Talk
What happens in the bedroom does not always remain confined to that space. Radical Pillow Talk brings together 7 artists exploring desire, fantasy, dreams, and the spaces of queer lives: bedrooms, streets, clubs, cruising spots, and imaginary landscapes. These places can offer freedom, pleasure, and escape, but also solitude, vulnerability, and danger. Marking the 25th anniversary of Pink Screens, this exhibition examines how dreams and desire can become radical acts, and how intimate fantasies can open up to a collective dimension. In dialogue with Queer Resistance, this exhibition traverses the intimate spaces where resistance can emerge.
