The Roof by The 1040

The 1040 is a household name with gourmets. Opened by chef Jean-Philippe Watteyne, it’s located in the Sofitel Brussels Europe hotel on Place Jourdan. It’s "Roof" - the only rooftop in the EU Quarter – invites you to enjoy signature cocktails and a variation of their menu made up of mostly small dishes and sharing platters. The roof terrace doesn't serve dishes from the restaurant, but be sure to go in one day to eat there. Partially covered, it is open all year round from 17:00 to midnight, with a DJ every Friday evening to start the weekend off right. It's possible to book the rooftop terrace for private functions.

Rooftop Perché

Perché the roof terrace of the trendy Jam Hotel, is a former art school in the Châtelain neighbourhood that designer Lionel Jadot transformed into an absolute dream location. You feel like you're always on holiday here. Perché occupies two floors: downstairs you can relax or go for a paddle in the heated pool (hotel guests have priority). Upstairs, you can enjoy a phenomenal view of Brussels. There are also delicious culinary bites, delicious cocktails and a great musical atmosphere. No need to book unless you're coming with a large group.

Soko Rooftop

Soko Rooftop opened in 2021 and quickly became a Brussels hotspot. This is mostly down to its exceptional location. This roof terrace on the eleventh floor of a building complex at the Quatre Bras crossroad is right on the edge of the Sonian Forest. Gaze out to the horizon, over the lush foliage of Brussels' largest green lung. It's a great place for a healthy dose of oxygen, delicious snacks, drinks and, of course, fun-filled evenings! It even has a space that can be reserved for private events.

COCO

COCO, on the former Cospaia site, is synonymous with elegance and glamour of the Louise district in which it stands. The semi-covered terrace overlooks avenue de la Toison d'Or. Inside, too, you'll feel right at home, with its burgundy velvet seating, huge mirrors, Japanese cherry tree and subdued lighting. It's almost like being in a boudoir or a speakeasy.
