Though less well-served in bike shops, the North and West of Brussels is nonetheless home to a few shops that will delight cyclists.
The North: places to discover
Bike your City
Located in the Be-Here complex, Bike your City is, of course, a bike shop that offers all the usual sales, repair and maintenance services. But the approach and ethos behind the shop go much further: the aim is to make cycling ‘a habit for as many people as possible, to create a more pleasant city for everyday life: less CO₂, less noise, less stress and more muscle! ” They also adopt a broadly eco-friendly approach: the shop is decorated with wood and recycled materials, eco-friendly products are used in-store, and the building is heated by a pellet stove.
They have a wonderfully holistic way of doing things!

La Maison du Vélo
La Maison du Vélo prides itself on being Brussels' go-to shop for cycle tourism and folding bikes, but you’ll find a wide range of all types of bikes here, for all ages, to suit all your urban riding and adventuring needs! The selection focuses on “high-quality, long-lasting products that are easy to repair and maintain, and for which you’ll always be able to find spare parts years down the line”.
The company has a second shop called ‘Vélophil’, located in Etterbeek.
