The lovely squares and terraces of Saint-Gilles

This little square feels so cosy, thanks to the presence of two large trees. You can sit in their shade on the terrace of Le Dillens, a restaurant with a surprising menu and have lunch, brunch, dinner or just enjoy a glass of wine on a balmy summer's evening. If you have a sweet tooth, the Gingko patisserie will delight you with its revisited classics.

It doesn't matter when you go, a visit to place Maurice Van Meenen is always a good plan. For an extensive beer list and a decent bite to eat, Café La Biche is the place to go. This place might be far from the sea, but it’s bursting with its flavours! It’s home to Fernand Obb Delicatessen. Year after year their shrimp croquettes are voted the best in Brussels, and with good reason! Need a drink after too many crispy flavour bombs? Nowadays you can, once again, enjoy their luxurious cocktails on their terrace. The perfect place for an aperitif before going for dinner at Grabuge or Le Damoiselle!
