The best of Brussels, on your plate

Keen to discover the latest culinary trends and meet the chefs who are putting Brussels on the map? Eat Festival is back for its 13th edition, from Thursday 26 to Sunday 29 September. This emblematic event of Brussels gastronomy returns to the exceptional setting of the Gare Maritime at Tour & Taxis for a four-day gastronomic extravaganza in the image of Brussels: gourmet, lively, innovative and cosmopolitan.

This year, get ready for a brand-new concept! Eat Festival is pulling out all the stops to offer you an accessible, no-holds-barred gastronomic experience. Every day, two teams of Brussels chefs, pastry chefs and cheesemakers will concoct an exclusive and original 3- and 5-course menu, drinks included. Taste the best of the capital with signature dishes, tasty cheeses and indulgent desserts. Among the first revealed names of the programme are the chefs from the restaurants Racines, Restaurant Le Tournant, Barge, Klok, and Grabuge, as well as renowned pastry chefs such as Nikolas Koulepis, Anaïs Gaudemer from Cokoa, and the talented Julien Othomène.

And the gourmet programme doesn't stop there! Eat Festival is once again teaming up with its neighbour, BXLBeerFest, to offer guests the very best of Belgian breweries to pair with their dishes. To celebrate 10 years of collaboration, Bordeaux Wines will once again be partnering Eat Festival. Come and meet the region's winemakers and discover the richness of this unrivalled vineyard. There will also be new workshops, tastings, demonstrations and the famous 100% Brussels producers' market.
For the second year running, Eat Festival is inviting you to the national Premier Fromager competition, in collaboration with the Belgian Cheesemakers Federation. What’s more, you can also follow the unmissable competition to find the best prawn croquette in the capital (entries for the competition are now open).

Finally, mindful of the environment - a major focus for the industry today - Eat Festival is aiming to reduce waste. From now on, you'll be welcomed at the festival as if you were in a restaurant, tasting the menus using traditional, washable crockery.

Join us and enjoy a 100% local menu from the best of Brussels' burgeoning culinary scene.
