It is hard to find a more authentic address. In 1627, this house stood amid open countryside. Around 1840, a small hamlet known as the Koevoet developed here, and the Hoef became a modest farmhouse. Over the years, the farm evolved into a guinguette, a brasserie, a tavern and finally into a restaurant, particularly popular with Brussels' chefs, not least for its world-famous wood-fired grill specialties.
