A trendy brunch

Chyl

Chyl is, above all, about healthy, sustainable and gourmet food. You can enjoy their concoctions either in the shop or for brunch. When? On Saturday and Sunday.

Batch

Do you also have a soft spot for hybrid places that you can visit at any time of day? Batch is one such place. In the morning, it’s the ideal spot for a coffee and a delicious pastry or cookie. Before you know it, you’ll be back at lunchtime with colleagues for a focaccia or a soup. Be sure to return for after-work drinks with friends or to try the excellent kitchen late in the evening. And don’t forget to come by for brunch at the weekend!

Chez Franz

The pleasant and convivial bar Chez Franz offers numerous brunches of varying sizes depending on your taste and your appetite. When? On Saturday and Sunday.

Grand Central

The new beating heart of a vibrant and perpetually changing European quarter, Grand Central welcomes food lovers every Sunday for a brunch that changes with the seasons. When?  On Saturday and Sunday.

Hinterland

Hinterland is almost always open. You can visit every day and enjoy a delicious bite to eat from early in the morning until late at night. They cater to both night owls and early birds. They also offer brunch at the weekend. It's the perfect time to indulge in their pancakes with bacon. Be sure to have a go on their excellent table football table.

Lucifer Lives

The most animal-friendly brunch bar in Brussels can be found in the Marolles. In fact, at Lucifer Lives, they serve only vegan options. They even call themselves a vegan café. But it is one with a sinister edge. Satan is never far away, with references to death coffee and black metal (in their drinks). Nevertheless, the place is quite cosy, bustling but comfortable. The brunch options are very intriguing too and there's nothing better than a hangover brunch on Sunday! Plant-based and devilishly delicious.

Serra

Come and enjoy an indoor garden brunch, close to Brussels-North station! At Serra they offer healthy food and music by DJ Nikita in Serra’s Garden Kitchen! When? Every first Sunday of the month.

Booza

We may have lost count, but Syrian restaurant guru Georges Baghdi Sar must have about a dozen establishments by now. With My Tannour, Mine Madeh and other Kamouns, he introduced our capital to Syrian cuisine and Brussels just can’t get enough. At Booza, it’s all about melting away over Syrian ice cream. The delicious, pure flavours of his creations are also reflected in the teas, lemonades, baklavas and pancakes. A true festival of Middle Eastern flavours, seven days a week.

Clair/Obscur

Clair Obscur is almost always open. You can visit every day and enjoy a delicious bite to eat from early in the morning until late at night. They cater to both night owls and early birds. They also offer brunch at the weekend. It's the perfect time to indulge in their pancakes with bacon. Be sure to have a go on their excellent table football table.
